Industry Strategist,Generics,Life Sciences of Clarivate Analytics
Brandon Boyd is currently Industry Strategist for Generics within the Life Sciences business at Clarivate Analytics. In this role, he manages strategic business initiatives and key external partnerships and has responsibility for translating market trends and innovations into solutions that accelerate the pace of drug development in the generics and active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturing sectors. Previously, Brandon was the Segment Lead for Generics, focusing on management and development of the Newport product, supporting the API sourcing, business development & licensing, and portfolio management needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers and traders.
Prior to joining Clarivate, Brandon served eight years in positions of increasing responsibility within the generics division of Teva Pharmaceuticals. His last role was as Head of Market Insights for the US Generics unit, where he led a team of research and analytics professionals charged with delivering business performance reporting and market intelligence to commercial and corporate leadership. Also, during his tenure at Teva, Brandon served as strategic associate/chief-of-staff to the President of the Americas region, supporting long range planning and strategic projects. He worked as well in portfolio management and forecasting, leading efforts to identify new product opportunities for the US generic pipeline and to evaluate and select product candidates using quantitative risk and financial optimization models.
Brandon earned his MBA from the Pennsylvania State University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
